Singer Yoo Seung-jun (Steve Yoo, 49), who has been banned from entering South Korea for over two decades due to draft dodging allegations, has once again become the center of controversy.

He recently shared a video on his personal YouTube channel, revealing his second son, Jian, for the first time. Yoo wrote, "Seeing Jian reminds me of my own childhood. It's not because he's particularly good at anything, but I'm grateful for his sincere way of living."

He further expressed his emotions towards his family, confessing, "There are times when my heart breaks due to twisted truths and distorted sincerity, but I endure because of the people I love."

Notably, he added, "Some people think I want to go to Korea for commercial activities. However, I am already sufficiently happy," an apparent jab at composer Yoon Il-sang's recent remarks that "Korea was just business."

Earlier, on the 10th, Yoon Il-sang had directly criticized Yoo Seung-jun on YouTube. While acknowledging his past popularity, Yoon stated, "His popularity during his prime was incomparable to today's GD," adding, "It seems his heart was always in America," and "Korea was just business, and he thought America was his place to return to." Yoon continued his sharp critique, calling his draft dodging an "unacceptable choice" and stating, "If you couldn't keep your promise, you must apologize until you are recognized."

Before the controversy subsided, it was confirmed on the 20th that Yoo Seung-jun's voice appears on the final track, 'Home Home,' of rapper Justhis's new album 'LIT (Lost In Translation)'. Although his name is not credited, footage of Yoo recording in the studio was captured in a production diary video released by Justhis. The recording file name, 'Home Home – YSJ – Acapella,' with 'YSJ' being Yoo Seung-jun's initials, confirms his involvement, making his comeback virtually a foregone conclusion.

Netizens reacted negatively, commenting, "Trying to appear on broadcasts again?", "To start music activities without properly paying for his crime is unbelievable", and "If that's the case, why not just live quietly overseas?"
