EPEX Member Geum Dong-hyun Departs Group After 6 Months of Hiatus

Geum Dong-hyun, a member of the K-pop group EPEX, will be leaving the team.

His agency, C9 Entertainment, announced on the 21st, "We would like to inform you that the exclusive contract with Geum Dong-hyun has been terminated. We are grateful to Geum Dong-hyun for his hard work as a member of EPEX."

The agency added, "We ask for your continued support for Geum Dong-hyun's future endeavors." and stated, "EPEX will continue its activities as a 7-member group (Wish, Mu, Amin, Baek Seung, Ayden, Ye Wang, Jeff).

Geum Dong-hyun had previously halted his activities in May due to 'personal reasons'. This departure comes about six months after the announcement of his hiatus.

EPEX plans to continue their career with the remaining seven members. The group is also scheduled to hold a fan club event in Tokyo on December 14th.

Fans expressed sadness over the sudden news, with comments like "So sad about this sudden news" and "I will support Geum Dong-hyun's future."
