Singer Yoo Seung-jun, who is banned from entering South Korea due to alleged draft dodging, has participated as a featured artist on rapper Justhis' new album.

According to Yonhap News on the 21st, Yoo Seung-jun was featured on the track 'HOME HOME,' the final song on Justhis' new album 'LIT,' released the previous day. This marks his first new music release in South Korea in approximately seven years, since his own album 'Another Day' in January 2019.

While the featured artist's name was not credited on the track, music fans noted a voice similar to Yoo Seung-jun's. His participation was later confirmed when he appeared in a production documentary video for the album uploaded on Justhis' official YouTube channel.

Yoo Seung-jun, a hugely popular dance artist in the 1990s, faced controversy for renouncing his Korean nationality and obtaining U.S. citizenship to evade mandatory military service, leading to his entry ban in South Korea in 2002. He has been involved in legal battles regarding visa denials for his overseas Korean resident status, with an appellate court currently hearing his third lawsuit after the Los Angeles Consulate again refused his visa application last June.

Netizens have expressed mixed reactions online, with comments ranging from "He's still trying to promote himself?" to "If that's the case, he shouldn't try to come to Korea," and "Let's just listen to the music." The news has sparked debate among the public.
