MONSTA X's Joo-heon Tearfully Reunites with High School Teacher on 'Good Deeds Center'

MONSTA X member Joo-heon was overcome with emotion during the filming of the YouTube show 'Good Deeds Center - Shim Cheong Yi' when he unexpectedly met his high school teacher.

In the episode released on the 21st, Joo-heon took on a mission to meet the father of a fan, who is a 70-year-old MONSTA X supporter. The requester shared that their father, who recently retired and now works as an elementary school security guard, is an avid fan, and the entire family has become 'Monbebe' (MONSTA X's official fandom name).

Arriving at the meeting spot with anticipation, Joo-heon was stunned when the requester's father appeared. The father turned out to be none other than Joo-heon's former high school teacher. Hearing his name called by his teacher, Joo-heon couldn't hold back his tears upon the unexpected reunion.

"As soon as I saw him, I thought I must be seeing things. I was overwhelmed with emotion," Joo-heon confessed. "It's thanks to the teachers that I was able to graduate. I had so many worries about missing school due to practice, but they guided me well," he expressed his gratitude.

The teacher fondly recalled Joo-heon's high school days, saying, "I remember calling the manager to ask them to send Joo-heon to school. His dimples are still just the same," reminiscing about his student's past struggles and passion.

Later, Joo-heon visited his alma mater with his teacher, cherishing old memories. "This is truly a great source of strength," he repeatedly expressed his thanks. He added, "Tears welled up as I started picturing myself as a younger person. I've gained the power to work even harder in the future."
