The event, held on the 22nd at Community House Masil in Myeongdong, Seoul, was part of a pledge made by Lee Jung-jae on the show 'You Quiz on the Block'. He had promised to hold a fan signing event in Myeongdong dressed as Prince Suyang if the drama's premiere achieved a viewership rating of 3% or higher.

'The Great Actor's Love' exceeded expectations, premiering with a 5.5% rating, prompting Lee Jung-jae to honor his commitment. Through footage shared by 'You Quiz on the Block', Lee Jung-jae expressed his thoughts: 'It was a spontaneous idea that seemed fun. While film releases allow for fan meet-and-greets, dramas often lack such opportunities, so I thought it would be nice to meet the viewers like we do for movies.' He added, 'I'm glad they accepted the proposal and that I could keep my promise.'
