Lee Jang-woo and Cho Hye-won Tie the Knot After 8 Years of Dating; Wedding Ceremony Held Today (23rd) with 'Home Alone' Cast Members Presiding

Actor Lee Jang-woo and Cho Hye-won are officially becoming a married couple today, November 23rd, after an eight-year relationship.

The wedding ceremony will be held privately at a location in Seoul, with only close family members and acquaintances in attendance.

The couple first met while filming the KBS2 weekend drama 'My Only One' which concluded in March 2019, and later developed their relationship.

They officially acknowledged their relationship in June 2023 and had been publicly dating since.

Lee Jang-woo previously garnered attention at the '2023 MBC Entertainment Awards' when he mentioned Cho Hye-won during his acceptance speech for the Top Excellence Award. He humorously remarked, "My girlfriend is working hard. I think I have to postpone the wedding a bit," sparking conversations.

Later, on the show 'Home Alone,' he shared that his girlfriend was touched by his words, expressing gratitude for his mention, although they hadn't officially set a wedding date at the time.

In December of last year, Lee Jang-woo surprised viewers on MBC's 'Village Chief Lee Jang-woo' by announcing, "We are preparing for a wedding next year." He further elaborated on MBC's 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan,' suggesting, "I think we'll get married around the end of the year, around autumn."

For their wedding, Jun Hyun-moo, a fellow 'Palm Oil Trio' member, is expected to officiate, while Kian84 will be the MC.

Lee Jang-woo also revealed his desire for children, stating through his YouTube channel, "The biggest reason for getting married is wanting to have a baby. I really want a child. I want to have many children."

Cho Hye-won recently shared her excitement on social media with photos from their wedding shoot, announcing, "Jang-woo♥Hye-won, we are getting married on November 23rd!!"

Following the wedding, Lee Jang-woo will continue his busy schedule with MBC's upcoming spin-off variety show, tentatively titled 'Palm Oil Trip,' featuring other 'Palm Oil Trio' members.
