VVUP Dominates Global Charts with Debut Mini-Album 'VVON', Crowned 'Top Super Models'

Rookie girl group VVUP (members Kim, Paen, Sua-yeon, Ji-yun) has proven their 'Top Super Model' status by storming global charts immediately after the release of their first mini-album, 'VVON'.

Released on the 20th, 'VVON' impressively climbed to the number 1 spot on the iTunes Album R&B/Soul charts in Indonesia and Thailand by the 22nd. This achievement is particularly significant as Indonesia and Thailand are the home countries of members Kim and Paen, respectively, highlighting the strong local fan response.

The title track 'Super Model' also secured the top position on the Apple Music chart in Qatar. VVUP was the only K-pop artist to break into the TOP5, drawing significant attention from global fans.

Furthermore, the music video for 'House Party' topped the YouTube Music Video trending list in Indonesia, proving the high level of local interest in VVUP.

'VVON' is VVUP's first mini-album since their debut. The title, a combination of 'VIVID', 'VISION', and 'ON', signifies 'the moment the light turns on.' Phonetically linked to 'Born' and orthographically to 'Won,' the album presents VVUP's unique narrative as beings who are born, awaken, and conquer.
