Deaf Idol Group Big Ocean Releases Heartwarming Christmas Carol 'RED-DY SET GO'
Big Ocean, the world's first deaf idol group, is set to release a special Christmas carol, 'RED-DY SET GO,' delivering a message of hope.
The song, featuring members Chan-yeon, PJ, and Ji-seok, will be available on various music platforms starting December 23rd at 6 PM. 'RED-DY SET GO' is characterized by its bright and upbeat tempo, inspired by Rudolph's red nose, and an addictive chorus.
Beyond a cheerful holiday tune, 'RED-DY SET GO' delves into the prejudices and discrimination the group has faced, conveying a powerful message about 'the moment a complex becomes a light.' The lyrics symbolically depict a small deer emerging from darkness to embrace its own radiance, showcasing Big Ocean's unique identity.
Adding to the excitement, the music video for 'RED-DY SET GO' will feature Ji-seok's live performance for the first time. Big Ocean is also scheduled to participate in 'Korea Spotlight' in Barcelona, Spain, on December 25th, and will hold their year-end solo concert 'HEARTSIGN: When Hands Sing, Hearts Answer' in Paris, France, on January 7th, marking an active period of international engagement.
Korean netizens have expressed immense excitement for the new release, with comments like "Finally, Big Ocean is back! I've waited so long," and "A heartwarming carol with a hopeful message, perfect for Christmas!" Many are also eagerly anticipating Ji-seok's live performance in the music video.
