Jeon Hyun-moo 'Horrified' by 'Six O'Clock Plaza' Past Footage; Park Myung-soo Also Recalls Humiliating Days
On the KBS2 entertainment show 'The Manager Is an Ass-Donkey' (hereinafter 'Ass-Donkey'), Jeon Hyun-moo was visibly taken aback by past footage of himself as a reporter for 'Six O'Clock Plaza'.
The broadcast on the 23rd featured the daily lives of announcer Nam Hyun-jong and judo national team coach Hwang Hee-tae, with TVXQ's U-Know Yunho appearing as a special MC.
Announcer Uhm Ji-in visited the current affairs production team with coffee to congratulate her junior, Nam Hyun-jong, who had recently been selected as a new reporter for 'Six O'Clock Plaza'. Uhm Ji-in stated, "I came to see the production team to ask them to take good care of junior Nam Hyun-jong, as he lacks the outgoing personality for an announcer."
During this segment, archival footage of Jeon Hyun-moo, who worked as a reporter for 'Six O'Clock Plaza' in 2006, was shown. Upon seeing it, Jeon Hyun-moo exclaimed, "I need to burn all this footage," expressing his dismay. When Kim Sook asked, "Where did you get those clothes?" Jeon Hyun-moo jokingly replied, "I borrowed them from the village head," drawing laughter from the studio.
Following this, footage of Park Myung-soo's reporting days on 'Six O'Clock Plaza' was also shown. When Kim Sook questioned, "You didn't do well either, right?" Park Myung-soo confessed, "Yes, the PD called me because I was trying to shine more than the hometown," admitting he was fired and adding to the amusement.
Netizens reacted with comments like 'Jeon Hyun-moo's humiliation clip is legendary', 'It's funny that Park Myung-soo had a similar experience too', and 'Being a reporter for Six O'Clock Plaza isn't easy for just anyone'.
