Lee Jae-wook and Choi Eun have finally confirmed each other's feelings in KBS 2TV's weekend mini-series 'The Last Summer.'

In the 8th episode, aired yesterday (23rd), Baek Do-ha (played by Lee Jae-wook) made his feelings for Song Ha-kyung (played by Choi Eun) undeniably clear, filling the screen with romance.

Do-ha took Ha-kyung to the sea, urging, "Let's just be the two of us. Tonight. All night." Faced with Do-ha's firm stance, Ha-kyung couldn't refuse and they ended up having a heart-to-heart conversation.

Ha-kyung, finding it difficult to express her true feelings sober, resorted to alcohol. However, on the car ride home, she couldn't recall what she had said, leaving her frustrated.

Meanwhile, Seo Soo-hyuk (played by Kim Gun-woo) was waiting for them at the 'peanut house.' A palpable tension hung in the air as the three met again, and Do-ha could only watch helplessly as Ha-kyung followed Soo-hyuk, adding to the poignant atmosphere.

The next day, Do-ha informed Soo-hyuk of his decision to withdraw the retainer, stating, "It was wrong to hire a lawyer to drag out the summer," declaring his intention not to play fair in his relationship with Ha-kyung, thus signaling the start of a full-blown love triangle.

Ha-kyung tried to probe Do-ha to recover her memories, but when that didn't work, she pulled out a bottle of high-proof liquor. In response, Do-ha proposed the 'Song Ha-kyung Game,' where they would say the opposite of the truth, allowing him to honestly confess his feelings under the guise of the game. The moment Ha-kyung, flustered, covered Do-ha's mouth created an intriguing chemistry that made viewers' hearts pound.

Elsewhere, Soo-hyuk invited Ha-kyung for dinner. He revealed he was no longer Do-ha's lawyer, asking, "Now that we can meet privately, how do you feel?" He then offered Ha-kyung, who couldn't remember her encounter with Do-ha, insightful advice: "Song Ha-kyung, please find those lost memories. Following those memories might reveal your heart."

At the end of the broadcast, Ha-kyung rushed to the peanut house upon hearing that Do-ha was injured. Seeing Ha-kyung relieved by his minor injury, Do-ha couldn't hide his emotions and kissed her, delivering an explosive finale filled with excitement.

'The Last Summer' airs its 9th episode on Saturday, the 29th, at 9:20 PM.

Viewers reacted enthusiastically, with comments like "Ha-kyung gets funnier and cuter the more I see her," "My heart almost burst during the 'Song Ha-kyung Game'," and "This is the promised 8th episode. Finally, a kiss ending. How can I wait for the next episode?"
