Comedian and broadcaster Yoon Jung-soo (53) has officially joined the married ranks, tying the knot with his fiancée, Won Jin-seo, who is 11 years his junior.

The private wedding ceremony took place on June 30th at a hotel in Gangnam, Seoul.

Yoon Jung-soo garnered significant attention on his wedding day with his noticeably slimmer figure, having lost over 16kg (approximately 35 lbs). He had previously shared that he dropped from 105kg to 89kg in preparation for the ceremony.

The ceremony was emceed by his close comedian friend Nam Chang-hee and broadcaster Kim Sook, who previously starred with Yoon in the virtual couple show 'With You'. Musical congratulations were delivered by singers Lee Mu-jin, Bae Ki-sung, and Lee Jae-hoon of Cool.

His bride, Won Jin-seo, is a former MBC Sports reporter who gained recognition as the 'Guangzhou Goddess' during the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games.

The star-studded guest list included many of Yoon's celebrity colleagues such as Yoo Jae-suk, Kim Ji-sun, Kim Ji-hye, Park Joon-hyung, Shim Jin-hwa, Kim Won-hyo, Nam Hee-suk, Kang Ho-dong, as well as singers Heize, Hong Seok-cheon, Shorry, Bae Ki-sung, and Kim Won-joon.

It was revealed in July that Yoon was in a relationship with a pilates instructor, later confirmed to be Won Jin-seo, a former reporter. The couple, who had known each other as acquaintances for a long time, began dating earlier this year and have now formalized their union.

Korean netizens are showering the couple with congratulations. Comments included, 'Congratulations on your marriage, Yoon Jung-soo! Losing 16kg is truly amazing!', 'The bride looks like a celebrity!', and 'It's heartwarming to see you marry someone you've known for a long time. Wishing you happiness!'.
