SHINee's Minho Reveals Shocking Behind-the-Scenes Stories of Mega-Hits 'Ring Ding Dong' & 'Lucifer'

SHINee member Minho has shared candid behind-the-scenes stories about some of the group's biggest hit songs.

During his appearance on the YouTube channel ‘TEO’s content ‘SM Visual Center Talks About SM 5Center EP.117 Minho Salon Drip’ on the 2nd, Minho sat down with MC Jang Do-yeon to discuss SHINee's music.

When Jang Do-yeon asked if there were any songs he initially disliked but became massive hits, Minho honestly confessed, "From the beginning to the end, I thought 'Ring Ding Dong' and 'Lucifer' weren't our songs." He added, "They're famous as 'Suneung forbidden songs,' but it was fascinating how well both songs did. The members and I even joked, 'Do they only do well if we dislike them?'"

In contrast, he expressed his fondness for tracks that strongly represented SHINee's signature style, saying, "Songs like 'View' and 'Sherlock' felt like they were truly SHINee's own. We loved them, and they received so much love from our fans."

Meanwhile, Minho is set to release his solo single 'TEMPO' on the 15th.
