A monumental collaboration is set to unfold as acclaimed director Kore-eda Hirokazu joins forces with visionary manga artist Fujimoto Tatsuki for the live-action film adaptation of 'Look Back.'

Megabox announced the confirmed 2026 domestic release of 'Look Back,' revealing two teaser posters for the film directed by Kore-eda Hirokazu, based on the original manga by Fujimoto Tatsuki. Megabox will handle the import and distribution of the live-action 'Look Back.'

The film adaptation draws from Fujimoto Tatsuki's acclaimed manga of the same name, which beautifully portrays the friendship between two young girls bound by their passion for drawing. The manga was previously adapted into an anime last year, attracting over 300,000 viewers in South Korea through a Megabox exclusive release, generating significant buzz.
