Global Girl Group KATSEYE Continues Chart Domination on Billboard, Making K-Pop History

Global girl group KATSEYE, a collaboration between HYBE and Geffen Records, is continuing its remarkable chart run on the main U.S. Billboard charts.

According to the latest charts released by Billboard on December 2nd (KST) for the week of December 6th, KATSEYE's track 'Gabriela' from their second EP ‘BEAUTIFUL CHAOS’ landed at number 41 on the 'Hot 100'.

Despite the strong presence of holiday season songs in the top rankings, KATSEYE's momentum is undeniable, marking their 19th week on the chart. Excluding OSTs from popular Netflix animation 'Kpop Demon Hunters' by virtual idols HUNTR/X, 'Gabriela' has stayed on the 'Hot 100' longer than any other song by a real girl group this year.

The EP ‘BEAUTIFUL CHAOS’ itself is also showing a steady presence on Billboard's album charts. This week, ‘BEAUTIFUL CHAOS’ secured the 33rd position on the 'Billboard 200', extending its charting streak to 22 consecutive weeks since its peak at number 4. The EP also ranked 12th on 'Top Album Sales' and 11th on 'Top Current Album Sales', which track physical album sales.

Their first EP ‘SIS’, released last year, has also re-entered the 'Billboard 200' at number 98, an exceptional achievement for an album over a year and three months past its release. It also charted at 17th on 'Top Album Sales' and 15th on 'Top Current Album Sales', demonstrating the rising popularity of KATSEYE, which is even boosting their back catalog sales.

'Gabriela' has not only made waves on the U.S. Billboard but also previously peaked at number 38 on the UK Official Charts (Oct 18th) and number 10 on Spotify's 'Weekly Top Songs Global' (Oct 3rd). Furthermore, its inclusion in Apple Music's 'Best Songs of 2025' highlights its recognition for both musicality and mainstream appeal.

Born under Chairman Bang Si-hyuk's 'K-pop methodology' and refined through HYBE America's systematic T&D (Training & Development) system, KATSEYE debuted in the U.S. in June last year. They have also been nominated for two Grammy Awards categories: 'Best New Artist' and 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' for the upcoming 68th Annual Grammy Awards on February 1st.
