Park Seo-joon Offers Comfort to Sung Si-kyung Amid Financial Dispute

Actor Park Seo-joon has extended a heartfelt message of support to singer Sung Si-kyung.

A video uploaded on March 2nd to Sung Si-kyung's YouTube channel, titled 'Sung Si-kyung's Muk-eul-ten-de | Hannam-dong Jinju (with. Park Seo-joon),' featured the actor.

In the video, Park Seo-joon revealed that he had personally requested Sung Si-kyung to participate in the OST for his upcoming JTBC drama, 'Welcome to Kdandia,' set to premiere on March 6th. "Thank you so much for participating in the OST," Park Seo-joon expressed, to which Sung Si-kyung responded, "This is the first time an actor has directly asked me to participate in an OST."

Sung Si-kyung, who recently faced news of financial damages caused by a former manager, spoke cautiously about his situation. Park Seo-joon offered words of comfort, sharing his belief that "terrible things often happen before something wonderful occurs." He explained his reason for not reaching out immediately when the news broke, stating, "I thought it was the right thing not to contact you, because I imagine I would have disliked it myself."

"I wanted to tell you that only good things will happen from now on, and that this experience served as a good filter," Park Seo-joon added, aiming to uplift Sung Si-kyung.

Meanwhile, it was reported that Sung Si-kyung suffered financial losses due to a manager he had worked with for a long time. His agency, SK Jaewon, confirmed the incident, stating, "We have confirmed that the former manager committed acts that betrayed the company's trust during their employment. They have since resigned, and we are currently verifying the exact extent of the damages."
