Netflix's upcoming variety show, 'Chef vs Chef: The Culinary Hierarchy War 2,' has unveiled its star-studded lineup of 100 chefs ahead of its premiere on the 16th.

This season features a fierce competition between 18 renowned 'Gold Spoon' chefs, who represent the pinnacle of the culinary world, and 80 'Black Spoon' chefs, ambitious contenders ready to challenge the hierarchy solely through their taste.

Adding to the intrigue, two mysterious 'Hidden Gold Spoon' chefs remain veiled in secrecy.

The official lineup video released on Netflix Korea's social media channels showcases a formidable roster. The 'Gold Spoon' chefs include Korean fine dining pioneer Chef Lee Joon (Michelin 2-star), Chefs Son Jong-won (Michelin 1-star in Korean and Western cuisine), Monk Seon-jae (Korea's first temple food master), Master Chef Hu De-zhu (57 years in Chinese cuisine), Master Chef Park Hyo-nam (47 years in French cuisine), Star Chef Jeong Ho-young (Japanese cuisine), Chef Sam Kim (Italian cuisine), Chef Raymon Kim (Western with Korean influence), Chef Song Hoon ('Master Chef Korea Season 4' judge), and Chef Im Sung-geun ('K-Food Battle Season 3' winner).

Further bolstering the 'Gold Spoon' team are Chef Kim Hee-eun (Michelin 1-star), Former Blue House Executive Chef Chun Sang-hyun, Chef Choi Yu-gang (Michelin 1-star in Chinese and Japanese cuisine), Chef Jenny Wallin ('Master Chef Sweden' winner), Chef Shim Sung-chul (New York Michelin 1-star), Chef Lee Geum-hee (first female head chef at a 5-star hotel in Korea), Chef Kim Sung-woon (local food dining expert), and Chef Kim Kun (Michelin 1-star).

Meanwhile, the 80 'Black Spoon' chefs, described with evocative pseudonyms like 'Seochon Prince,' 'Cooking Monster,' and 'Chinese Bulldozer,' are poised to bring their unique talents and aggressive strategies to the forefront. Their diverse backgrounds include 'Naengmyeon Divine,' 'Queuing Tonkatsu,' and 'Tteokbokki Master,' promising a wide array of culinary styles.
