Kim Min-jong Reveals 3-Hour Secret Video Call with Shin Seung-hun on 'Radio Star,' Blocks Dating Questions
Veteran entertainer Kim Min-jong is set to reveal details of a secret three-hour video call he had with singer Shin Seung-hun on the upcoming episode of MBC’s entertainment show ‘Radio Star.’
The episode, scheduled to air today (3rd), features a ‘Dignity of Singles’ special with guests Kim Min-jong, Ye Ji-won, Kim Ji-yu, and Malgwang.
In a preview clip, MC Kim Gu-ra asks Kim Min-jong about a secret three-hour video call. Kim Min-jong confesses that the call was with Shin Seung-hun during the COVID-19 pandemic. The two stars, known for their close friendship in the entertainment industry, reportedly spent three hours on a video call while enjoying drinks separately.
Kim Min-jong shared, “It was so much fun,” and revealed that Shin Seung-hun spent the entire three hours offering him caring advice in his signature sweet voice. The MCs burst into laughter at the rough yet affectionate bond between the two friends.
MC Kim Gu-ra also attempted to help Kim Min-jong with his love life by asking about his ideal type. However, Kim Min-jong firmly deflected the question with a definitive, “Just ignore it, please!” sparking more laughter.
Recalling a past appearance on ‘Radio Star,’ Kim Min-jong lamented, “My youthful romance endeavors ended because of Seo Jang-hoon’s remark!” He expressed frustration over a rumor spread by Seo Jang-hoon during a previous broadcast, stating that Kim Min-jong preferred “young, voluptuous women,” which he claims has haunted him ever since.
Kim Min-jong clarified that during a joint program with Seo Jang-hoon, he only commented, “She seems a bit thin?” upon seeing a photo of a blind date suggested by Seo Jang-hoon. When Kim Gu-ra offered a “brilliant” solution, “Just date someone older and thin then!” Kim Min-jong responded with a wry laugh, “I’ll handle it myself!” leaving the studio in stitches. The episode airs tonight at 10:30 PM.
