Min Hee-jin Launches Auditions for New K-Pop Groups Post-ADOR Battle

Former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin is making her official comeback in the K-Entertainment scene.

On the 3rd, posters circulating online and on social media revealed that Okay-Recordz, a label founded by Min Hee-jin, will be holding a private in-house audition at a well-known dance academy on the 7th.

The audition notice specifies eligibility for individuals born between 2006 and 2011, with no restrictions on nationality or gender. This suggests Min Hee-jin is preparing to select trainees for both girl groups and boy groups.

Okay-Recordz was established by Min Hee-jin last October, with its business objectives including artist management agency services, music production and distribution, performance and event planning, and brand management agency services.

This private audition marks Min Hee-jin's first public move following NewJeans' declaration to return to ADOR. Min Hee-jin had previously stated her support for NewJeans' return, saying, "I can start anew anywhere."

Furthermore, Min Hee-jin is scheduled to appear on the YouTube channel 'Genre Only Yeouido' on the 4th. On the 3rd, the channel announced her appearance with the caption, "26 Billion Won Lawsuit: Min Hee-jin's Final Stand. Min Hee-jin's Testimony After 5+ Hours, What Was Said?"

It is anticipated that Min Hee-jin will discuss the ongoing legal battle with HYBE and clarify her stance on various legal responses during her appearance on 'Genre Only Yeouido'.

Following her dismissal as ADOR CEO in August last year and stepping down as an internal director in November, all eyes are on Min Hee-jin's future endeavors.
