KATSEYE Dominates 2024 YouTube Trends in the US, Clinches Grammy Nominations

Global girl group KATSEYE, a collaborative project between HYBE and Geffen Records, has been recognized as one of the hottest topics on YouTube in the US for 2024, demonstrating their immense influence.

According to YouTube's recently released 'Global Culture & Trend Report 2025', KATSEYE made it onto the 'Trending Topic US' list, which compiles popular content across the United States. Notably, they are the sole artist featured among trending topics that included globally discussed works like 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' and the character 'Labubu', as well as broader social and cultural issues, highlighting their unique standing.

This year, KATSEYE achieved remarkable success across music, performance, and advertising. Their second EP ‘BEAUTIFUL CHAOS’ peaked at number 4 on the Billboard 200 chart, and their track ‘Gabriela’ reached number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100. Another song, ‘Gnarly’, continues to be loved steadily even six months after its Hot 100 debut.

Their performances at major festivals and the collaboration campaign with GAP garnered significant attention, solidifying KATSEYE as icons of individuality and diversity.

Formed through the audition project ‘The Debut: Dream Academy’, KATSEYE is considered a prime example of HYBE's 'multi-home, multi-genre' strategy. The group has also earned nominations for two categories at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards in February: ‘Best New Artist’ and ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’, poised to write a new chapter for K-pop.
