Some fans of the MBC variety show 'I Live Alone' have urged SHINee member Key to address the recent controversy surrounding his alleged connection to 'Joo-sa-eemo', a nickname associated with Park Na-rae.
On the 12th, the fans expressed their feelings, stating, "In observing the various reports and controversies surrounding Key, and the subsequent silence from Key and his agency, we feel a significant disconnect between the principles Key displayed on 'I Live Alone' and his current stance."
They also pointed out Key's upcoming role as an MC for the 'MBC Entertainment Awards' on the 29th. "That stage is a place for viewers who love MBC's entertainment, including 'I Live Alone', to wrap up the year together," they said. "We cannot help but ask if it is a responsible attitude to pass over the recent situation surrounding Key without any mention."
The fans further requested, "What are your thoughts and position that you wish to convey to the viewers and fans of 'I Live Alone' regarding the recent reports and controversies surrounding you? If possible, we respectfully request that you reveal your honest stance in a way that viewers and fans can hear first, before you take the stage at the 'MBC Entertainment Awards' to conclude the year."
Key became embroiled in rumors of friendship with an individual known as 'A', referred to as 'Joo-sa-eemo' in connection with Park Na-rae, after posts from A's social media account went viral on online communities. The suspicions arose from similarities between A's dog photos and Key's pet dog in terms of breed and name, and the tagged location being Key's former residence in Hannam-dong.
Meanwhile, singer-songwriter Jung Jae-hyung and SHINee member Onew have both clarified their alleged involvement in the controversy through their respective agencies.
Fans are commenting, "We are disappointed by Key's silence," and "We hope for an honest explanation." Some fans are also defending Key, urging others to "refrain from hasty judgments."
