Police have decided not to send former manager A, accused of embezzlement by singer Sung Si-kyung, to the prosecution. The Seoul Yeongdeungpo Police Station recently concluded that there was insufficient evidence to support the embezzlement charges against A.

Sung Si-kyung's agency, SK Jaewon, released an official statement on the 12th, expressing hope for an amicable resolution given the long-standing trust with the former manager. The statement emphasized, "Above all, we believe the recovery of those who have suffered damages is the top priority. We will actively cooperate to ensure apologies and compensation are made according to the wishes of each party."

Previously, Sung Si-kyung's side reported that they had suffered financial damages from former manager A. In October last year, they filed a complaint with the police accusing A of embezzlement and violation of the Act on the Aggravated Punishment, etc. of Specific Economic Crimes.

Separately, Sung Si-kyung's agency was reported to the police for operating without registering as a popular culture arts planning business with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Consequently, the police recently referred the agency's representative, Sung Si-kyung's older sister Ms. Sung, and the agency to the prosecution without detention for violating the Popular Culture and Arts Industry Promotion Act. Sung Si-kyung himself was not sent to the prosecution, as it was determined he did not directly intervene in the agency's operations.

Netizens reacted to the news, with comments like, "Now that the police investigation results are out, I hope it can be cleanly resolved," and "The recovery of the victims is most important, so I hope Sung Si-kyung resolves it well."
