BLACKPINK Jisoo's Sister Clarifies 'Concussion Incident' Story: 'She Spoke Again After Eating Ice Cream'

Kim Ji-yoon, the older sister of BLACKPINK member Jisoo, has stepped forward to clarify a past anecdote that has garnered attention.

In a YouTube video uploaded on the channel 'Seller-brity' on October 12th, titled 'New Seller Catching Jeon Hyun-moo', Kim Ji-yoon addressed questions about her younger sister.

When host Jeon Hyun-moo asked if she felt burdened by being known as Jisoo's sister, Kim Ji-yoon confidently replied, "That's right. I'm okay with it because it's the truth. You can talk about (my sister). I'm confident."

She then elaborated on the 'Icicle of Concussion' incident, which Jisoo had previously mentioned during live broadcasts. Kim Ji-yoon explained, "When Jisoo was very young, she was riding a four-wheeled roller skate. There was a slope, and she was too scared to go down. So, I gave her a push, and she fell. I pushed her because she asked me to."

She continued, "After falling and receiving a shock at such a young age, she suddenly couldn't speak. I was flustered, so I bought her favorite 'Icicle' flavored ice cream. After she ate some, she started talking again."

Kim Ji-yoon humorously clarified, "But the way it was told made it sound like I was a bad person, like I pushed her to the brink of a concussion. That wasn't quite the story."
