Actor Jin Tae-hyun has stirred concern among fans after revealing he almost 'died' from a viral infection just six months after undergoing thyroid cancer surgery.

A video titled 'The Power of Positivity in Our Couple' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Park Si-eun Jin Tae-hyun's Little TV' on the 11th.

In the video, Jin Tae-hyun began by sharing his struggles, stating, "I've been through so many hardships in my 45 years." He then opened up about the emotional pain of losing his unborn daughter, saying, "It was very difficult after sending my baby to heaven."

Addressing recent health issues, he recalled his thyroid cancer diagnosis, saying, "We were doing well, and then I was told it was cancer." He sharply criticized those who casually dismiss the disease, commenting, "Many people say it's a 'cancer that heals,' but people get sick from just a cold. Don't say such things lightly." He emphasized, "Many people die from cold complications. You don't know how much those words hurt."

Jin Tae-hyun also shared his current difficulties, mentioning he hasn't been able to run properly for five weeks due to an ankle injury, which he loves doing.

He then described a recent terrifying experience, stating, "A few days ago, I think I caught a virus. I truly had an experience where I almost died."

He detailed the symptoms: "I had chills, cold sweats, my hands and feet went numb, I had severe stomach pain, and dizziness." He calmly reflected, "As I get older, every time I go through something like this, I realize how precious the remaining time is."

Netizens expressed their support, commenting, "Glad you're overcoming difficult times," "Please stay healthy and don't get sick anymore," and "We are cheering for you."
