Koyote's Shin-ji Clears Up Fiancé's 'Gold Digger' Rumors: 'His Family is Well-Off'

Shin-ji, a member of the popular K-pop group Koyote, has personally addressed and refuted rumors that her fiancé, Moon-won, is pursuing her for her wealth.

During a broadcast of MBN's 'Let's Go Park Golf: Crazy Partners' on the 12th, the cast members were seen unwinding after a round of golf.

When asked by In-gyo-jin and So-yi-hyun about her relationship, Shin-ji revealed that she felt a strong connection with Moon-won early on. She shared, "I jokingly told him around our second meeting, 'I think I'm going to marry you,'" surprising the others.

Kim Gu-ra commented on how such sentiments are usually expressed by men, but Shin-ji confidently asserted, "But I did it."

When questioned about the reason, she explained, "It was just a feeling," which Kim Gu-ra interpreted as a spiritual connection or a strong intuition.

Shin-ji elaborated on why Moon-won is different from her past relationships, stating, "Unlike previous men who were 'gold diggers,' he is not."

Addressing the speculation that Moon-won is after her assets, Shin-ji clarified, "Many people misunderstand, thinking he's here to 'gold dig' again. That's not the case. His family is quite well-off."

In-gyo-jin empathized, saying, "At first, people don't know, but eventually, only the couple knows." Shin-ji added that Moon-won was hurt by such assumptions as it was his first experience with such scrutiny. Kim Gu-ra offered encouragement, suggesting they view it as a rite of passage and that happiness will silence any doubts.

Shin-ji is set to marry Moon-won next year. Moon-won is known to be a 'dolsing' (divorced single) with children from his previous marriage. While rumors regarding his personal life have surfaced, Shin-ji's side has confirmed they are untrue. The couple is currently living together in their pre-marital home.
