SBS's hit Friday-Saturday drama 'Taxi Driver 3' has wrapped up its final episode on a high note, achieving its highest viewership ratings of the season.

The 8th episode, aired on April 13th, saw Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon) and the 'Rainbow Heroes' team bring the mastermind behind a 15-year-old match-fixing murder case, Cheon Gwang-jin (played by Eum Moon-suk), to justice through a cathartic act of vigilantism.

The episode garnered a peak viewership rating of 15.6%, setting a new personal best for Season 3. It not only topped its time slot but also secured the number one position among all miniseries aired throughout the week, showcasing the enduring popularity of 'Taxi Driver'.

The episode revealed the extent of Cheon Gwang-jin's depravity. He was shown manipulating volleyball players for match-fixing, orchestrating the murder of Park Min-ho (played by Lee Do-han) when he tried to report the crime, and even burying the body in his grandmother's grave. The plot twist deepened as it was revealed that Cheon Gwang-jin was also behind the fatal car accident of Park Min-ho's father, Park Dong-soo (played by Kim Ki-cheon).

Kim Do-gi retaliated against Cheon Gwang-jin's cruelty with a satisfying revenge. After discovering Cheon Gwang-jin's scheme to use him as a 'player' in a live fight betting ring, Kim Do-gi confronted him. When the defeated Cheon Gwang-jin attempted to bribe Kim Do-gi, the driver exacted revenge by making him experience the suffering of his victims. Kim Do-gi's final words to the desperate Cheon Gwang-jin, "Think hard before the grains of sand fall. Is there even one person in this world who truly remembers you?" left a lasting impact.

'Taxi Driver 3' successfully closed the book on the Park Min-ho murder case, which was the series's first and only unsolved case from its inception. Lee Je-hoon's raw action sequences and the show's signature satisfying revenge plot delivered a powerful conclusion for viewers.

Netizens flooded social media with praise, with comments like "Lee Je-hoon's action scenes were insane!" and "Eum Moon-suk's acting was chillingly good." Many expressed their desire for a Season 4, especially appreciating the clear-cut revenge ending delivered by Kim Do-gi.
