EXO's Lay Announces Last-Minute Absence from Fan Meeting 'EXO‘verse'

K-pop powerhouse EXO's member Lay will not be participating in the group's upcoming fan meeting.

SM Entertainment, the group's agency, announced on the 14th via the fan community platform, stating, "Due to unavoidable circumstances, member Lay will regrettably be unable to attend the fan meeting."

The fan meeting, titled 'EXO‘verse', was scheduled to take place on the same day at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, with two shows at 2 PM and 7 PM. However, with Lay's sudden withdrawal, the event will now feature only members Suho, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun.

SM Entertainment added, "We ask for your understanding as we inform you of this sudden change in participating members to our fans who have waited and supported us for a long time."

Fans expressed disappointment upon hearing the news of Lay's absence. Comments such as "I was really looking forward to seeing Lay, this is so sad" and "Still, with the other members there, let's have a great time" could be seen online.
