DAY6 Unveils Behind-the-Scenes for Debut Season Song 'Lovin' the Christmas', Set for Release Tomorrow

K-pop band DAY6 is set to release their very first season song, 'Lovin' the Christmas', tomorrow, December 15th, at 6 PM KST. Ahead of the special single's launch, JYP Entertainment heightened anticipation by releasing advent calendar teasers and group photos on the band's official Instagram, immersing fans in the holiday spirit.

The accompanying photos featured the four members huddled together, exuding a cozy Christmas vibe. 'Lovin' the Christmas' marks a significant milestone as DAY6's inaugural season song since their debut, characterized by a 60s-70s Motown sound. The band promises to deliver a winter narrative woven with sparkling melodies.

In exclusive comments shared through JYP Entertainment, the members offered insights into the creation of the song. Sungjin mentioned that the track was developed alongside their full album 'The DECADE'. Young K shared his inspiration, stating, "'Lovin' the Christmas' was written while picturing Christmas scenery. I want to sing it together with our fans." Wonpil recalled the recording process as "joyful and exciting, mirroring the song's energy," while Dowoon humorously noted, "My eardrums felt like they were melting during the drum recording," hinting at the song's exhilarating atmosphere.

Following the single's release, DAY6 will hold their exclusive concert, '2025 DAY6 Special Concert 'The Present'', from December 19th to 21st at the KSPO DOME in Seoul. All tickets for the concert have already been sold out. The final day's performance on December 21st will also be streamed live online via the Beyond LIVE platform.
