Kim Se-jeong has enthralled viewers with her exceptional emotional acting in the MBC Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Moon Rising Over the River’.

The 11th and 12th episodes, aired on the 12th and 13th, significantly heightened the drama's immersion as the protagonist Dal-i's (played by Kim Se-jeong) past began to unfold. As Yeon-wol's wrongful accusations were cleared and her memories returned, Dal-i, amidst her complex emotions, burned with determination to protect Lee Kang (played by Kang Tae-oh).

Kim Se-jeong's portrayal of Dal-i's strong inner self shone particularly during the scene where she confidently revealed her identity to the King. In the moment Lee Kang realized Dal-i was the former Crown Princess and their hearts connected, Kim Se-jeong used delicate facial expressions to convey suppressed sorrow and excitement, deepening the couple's romance.

Furthermore, Kim Se-jeong masterfully depicted Dal-i's anguish in bearing both the life of the deposed Kang and that of Park Dal-i. The scene where she revealed her identity amidst threats powerfully showcased the character's resilience.

Kim Se-jeong firmly held the drama's center by conveying complex emotions – tragic memories, resolute will, and the tremor of love – through her gaze and minute facial expressions. Her detailed acting enriched the character's narrative and is credited with driving the drama to its climax.

Meanwhile, ‘The Moon Rising Over the River’, starring Kim Se-jeong, airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM.

Following the broadcast, viewers praised her immersive performance, commenting, 'Kim Se-jeong's acting is insane,' 'I can't miss a single expression,' and 'I can't wait for next week.'
