‘2 Days & 1 Night’ Jo Se-ho Faces Dilemma Over Kim Jong-min's Salty Sikhye, Netizens React
On the latest episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘2 Days & 1 Night,’ aired on the 14th, cast member Jo Se-ho found himself in a tricky situation after Kim Jong-min's prank.
The episode, set in Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, featured a segment where cast members took on roles of 'nobles' and 'servants.' Jo Se-ho, Moon Se-yoon, and Lee Jun were the nobles, while DinDin, Kim Jong-min, and Yoo Seon-ho were the servants.
The nobles tasked the servants with fetching snacks and drinks, including sikhye (sweet rice beverage). While on their errand, the servants secretly took a break to sample the treats.
During this time, Kim Jong-min decided to play a prank by adding salt to the sikhye intended for the nobles. Lee Jun was the first to notice the unusual taste, prompting Jo Se-ho to offer forgiveness to anyone who confessed. Yoo Seon-ho quickly pointed the finger at Kim Jong-min, leading to laughter among the cast.
Jo Se-ho playfully reprimanded Kim Jong-min, saying, 'After all the time we've spent together, what have you done? You fool, drink it.' He then handed the salty sikhye back to Kim Jong-min. Later, Jo Se-ho suggested to the other members, 'Our 'fool' has confessed his mistake, so how about we forgive him? I want to see Kim Jong-min's sincerity,' showing a magnanimous attitude.
Meanwhile, Jo Se-ho recently decided to leave ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ due to controversy surrounding alleged ties to organized crime. The broadcasted episodes were filmed before his departure. His agency has denied the allegations and announced legal action.
Korean netizens found the segment hilarious, with comments like '1 Night 2 Days editing saved it,' 'Jo Se-ho's variety skills are still intact,' and 'Kim Jong-min's prank is so funny.' Many also expressed sadness about Jo Se-ho's departure from the show.
