Bobby Kim Reflects on 10-Year-Old In-Flight Disturbance: "Lost Memory After Drinking Wine"
Singer Bobby Kim has once again addressed the in-flight disturbance incident that occurred 10 years ago on a flight to the United States.
Appearing on the YouTube channel 'Psick Univ' recently, Bobby Kim spoke about the incident, explaining that despite purchasing a business class ticket, he was assigned an economy seat due to a booking error by the airline.
He admitted to causing a commotion on board, stating, "In my frustration, I drank wine and overindulged, eventually losing my memory at some point." While hosts Lee Yong-ju and Kwak Bum sympathized, pointing out the airline's mistake, Bobby Kim emphasized his responsibility, saying, "It is true that I caused a disturbance."
He added, "I want to apologize for that part. I hope such an incident never happens again." The incident at the time stemmed from a double-booking issue with a passenger of the same name. Bobby Kim was subsequently prosecuted and fined, leading him to a period of self-reflection.
Netizens commented, 'Finally explaining that incident after all these years,' 'While there might have been unfair aspects, he ultimately acknowledged his own fault,' and 'Talking about it again after 10 years shows he must have suffered a lot.' His candid confession has garnered significant attention.
