K-pop titans EXO are gearing up for a powerful start to 2026 with the release of their eighth full-length album, 'REVERXE'.
According to SM Entertainment on the 15th, the album, scheduled for release on January 19, 2026, will feature a total of nine tracks. A buzz was created with the unveiling of a new logo image on EXO's official social media accounts at midnight, and pre-orders are now available through various online and offline music retailers.
This marks EXO's first album release in approximately two years and six months since their seventh full-length album, 'EXIST', which achieved their seventh million-seller status upon its release in July 2023. The announcement has already garnered explosive interest from music fans worldwide.
Prior to the album's release, EXO held their fan meeting 'EXO’verse' at the Inspire Arena on the 14th. During the event, they captivated fans with performances of previously unreleased track 'I’m Home', alongside beloved hits such as 'Growl', 'My Turn to Cry', 'Peter Pan', 'First Snow', 'Unfair', 'History', 'Love Shot', and 'CALL ME BABY'. The fan meeting also included engaging segments like a random dance challenge and a superpower redistribution game, creating a memorable time for fans.
Concluding the fan meeting, the members expressed their feelings, stating, "We've been dreaming of this day since the beginning of the year, and we're so happy it's finally happening. We are deeply grateful to EXO-L for believing in us and waiting patiently. We will continue to show you even better performances and be by your side. We will work hard to fill 2026 with EXO."
Fans attended the event in coordinated red and green outfits, symbolizing spending the year-end holiday season together. They also participated in sing-alongs for 'First Snow' and 'Into My World', and held slogan events that read, 'We are always by EXO's side, wherever and whenever' and 'Our love will continue beyond the word 'end'', drawing attention.
Fans reacted with immense excitement, commenting, "Finally, a comeback!", "The 2.5-year wait was worth it", and "Hoping this album is a huge hit too." Many were also touched by the members' heartfelt messages shared during the fan meeting.
