DAY6 Drops Debut Christmas Song 'Lovin' the Christmas', Sending Warm Winter Wishes to Fans
K-band DAY6 has officially released their very first seasonal song, 'Lovin' the Christmas', today (December 15th) at 6 PM KST. The track serves as a special winter greeting to their dedicated fanbase, My Day.
Following their 10th anniversary debut with the digital single 'Maybe Tomorrow' earlier this year, DAY6 continues to engage with fans through a variety of activities including their latest album, fan meetings, and concerts. This new Christmas song is a heartfelt expression of gratitude to My Day, who have been a constant source of support.
In a statement released through their agency JYP Entertainment, the members shared their excitement. Sungjin wished, "I hope everyone has a warm Christmas." Young K added with a playful tone, "I hope every Christmas from now on can be a 'Merry Christmas' with 'Lovin' the Christmas'." Wonpil expressed his joy, stating, "I've always wanted to work on a Christmas carol, and I'm happy we can finally share one," while Dowoon enthusiastically commented, "Wow~ DAY6's first Christmas song is out, it's awesome!"
The band also highlighted the key listening points for 'Lovin' the Christmas'. Sungjin described it as "a song perfect for listening to with a fluttering heart while anticipating Christmas." DAY6 is also set to hold their solo concert, '2025 DAY6 Special Concert 'The Present'', for three days from December 19th to 21st at the KSPO Dome in Seoul. The final day's concert on December 21st will also be simultaneously broadcast live online via the Beyond LIVE platform.
