
Moon Ga-young Charms Malaysian Fans as Ambassador for '2025 Kuala Lumpur Hallyu Expo'
Actress Moon Ga-young visited Malaysia as an ambassador for the '2025 Kuala Lumpur Hallyu Expo', meeting with local fans.
The expo, held from November 11th to 13th, was organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and KOTRA to promote the synergy between culture and industry by combining K-consumer goods and cultural content.
Appointed as the expo's ambassador, Moon Ga-young attended key official events, including the opening ceremony. She received a plaque of appreciation and participated in CSR ceremonies and a talk show, drawing enthusiastic responses from the audience by speaking in her own voice without an interpreter.
On the second day, she met fans up close during a fan signing event, answering questions about her works, acting, beauty, and fashion. Visitor numbers were also high at the experience zones featuring her representative works like 'True Beauty' and 'Link: Eat, Love, Kill'.
"I felt the warm affection and passion for K-culture when I visited Kuala Lumpur in August for my drama 'The 8 Show' fans," Moon Ga-young shared. "It's even more meaningful to be back here as the ambassador for the Hallyu Expo."
Moon Ga-young is set to meet audiences in the film 'If We Were' which premieres on November 31st.
