Gaming YouTuber 'Sutak' Reveals Feelings After First Trial for Kidnapping, Assault Case… 'Returning Tomorrow'
Sutak, a popular gaming YouTuber with over a million subscribers, has shared his thoughts and feelings following the first court hearing of the kidnapping and assault case he recently experienced.
In a message posted on his YouTube community page, Sutak stated, "The first trial I was waiting for was held this morning. I did not want to see the faces of the perpetrators who tried to take everything from me again, so only my lawyer attended the hearing."
He continued, "As you may know from current news reports, it seems it will take some time to reach a verdict. It would be the greatest comfort and compensation for me if the perpetrators receive a just sentence as soon as possible, so I truly hope for a positive outcome."
Sutak also confessed that while he has been undergoing psychological counseling and outpatient treatment to overcome these events, he hesitated to return to broadcasting, worrying that his bright demeanor might be used to the perpetrators' advantage.
However, he expressed, "But I feel that every minute and second is too precious in my one and only life to simply act like a victim, feeling depressed and lethargic, until the trial concludes. I plan to return to broadcasting sometime tomorrow."
Finally, Sutak thanked his fans, saying, "You might be worried about my quick return, but this is something I've dedicated my youth to, and I believe I can do well again. Please don't worry too much. Your interest, anger, and support have given me immense strength. Thank you."
Korean netizens have shown support and encouragement, commenting things like, "It's amazing courage to decide to return to broadcasting after going through such a difficult time," "I truly hope the perpetrators receive appropriate punishment," and "We'll be waiting for your return."
