Singer-songwriter Cloud is set to release his 4th full-length album, 'Airplane Mode,' today (16th) at 6 PM, heightening anticipation among fans.

This full album marks Cloud's return to a full-length project approximately one year and two months after his 3rd full album, 'Sky, Hand, Balloon,' released in October last year. It promises to be an opportunity to witness Cloud's musical growth once again.

'Airplane Mode' features a total of nine tracks, including three title songs: 'Lost Property of Winter,' 'Life That Fades,' and 'Ruin.' Cloud has personally participated in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement for all songs, showcasing his capabilities as both a singer-songwriter and producer across various genres, including pop, folk, and ballads. The album notably delves into narratives of separation, loss, and subsequent healing, prompting listeners to reflect on the meaning of their own experiences with farewells.

Jo Yu-ri, a singer and actress, is set to appear in the music video for 'Lost Property of Winter,' one of the triple title tracks, drawing significant attention. Their connection stems from Cloud's involvement in writing, composing, and arranging Jo Yu-ri's 2023 mini-album title track, 'A Dog and A Cat's Time.' Jo Yu-ri, who has been expanding her acting spectrum, is expected to delicately portray the emotions of 'winter being an ended season for the one who left, but a season just beginning for the one left behind.' The music video will be released simultaneously with the album at 6 PM today on Cloud's official YouTube channel.

Additionally, the 4th track, 'I Don't Want to Sing,' features singer-songwriter Jung Woo. The collaboration blends Jung Woo's clear vocals and lyrical sensibility with Cloud's mellow singing, creating a warm texture characteristic of folk songs. The track expresses the sorrow of a being who, though struggling, wishes to remain like a song in someone's heart.

Cloud shared his thoughts on the album: "'Airplane Mode' captures the emotions I felt while observing Cho-me, a rescued stray dog I brought home last year. Just as Cho-me, who had been hurt, came into my life, I believe every separation in the world has its own value. I hope that through this album, everyone can put down their inner scars a little and find comfort."

Meanwhile, Cloud recently signed an exclusive contract with 'tapes,' a label under MOUND MEDIA, which he established in March. Following this signing, Cloud has broadened his producer role by participating in the writing, composition, and arrangement of various artists' songs. With his 4th full-length album, he is expected to further solidify his musical identity and presence as a solo artist.

Netizens reacted enthusiastically to the album release news, commenting things like, 'Been waiting for Cloud's comeback!', 'Jo Yu-ri in the MV, what a combo!', and 'Expecting another masterpiece from this album.'
