Chansung of K-pop group 2PM has successfully wrapped up his Japan solo tour, ‘CHANSUNG(2PM) 2025 Japan Tour [DAWN~The First Step~]’, with an additional performance on December 11th at Tokyo Tachikawa Stage Garden.

The tour, based on his first full-length Japanese album ‘DAWN’ released in October, featured a rich setlist of 24 songs, including new tracks, existing hits, and encore performances, offering fans an unforgettable experience.

Towards the end of the concert, Chansung became emotional as fans and staff prepared a surprise event, expressing his deep gratitude for their unwavering support.

Chansung officially resumed his solo activities in Japan last year with his first Japanese solo single in approximately six years. Following the release of his album ‘DAWN’ this year, he embarked on a tour that took him through Yokohama, Nagoya, and Osaka, culminating in this final Tokyo show. The additional performance featured enhanced production and stage direction, befitting a grand finale.

The concert also saw a lineup of special guests. Jun. K, a fellow 2PM member, joined Chansung on stage for a duet of the title track ‘甘く 切なく 強く feat. Jun. K’ and together they energized the crowd with a rendition of 2PM’s hit ‘ミダレテミナ’. AK-69, who collaborated on the theme song ‘Into the Fire’ for the anime ‘Re:Monster’, and Changmin of 2AM also took the stage for powerful joint performances.

Chansung kicked off the show with energetic dance numbers like ‘Treasure’ and ‘Angel’, showcasing his broad vocal spectrum by seamlessly transitioning to ballads and performance-oriented tracks. His cover of ‘Forget-me-not’ left a deep impression with its restrained emotional delivery, while songs such as ‘Oh’, ‘My House’, ‘I’m your man’, and ‘HIGHER’ solidified his charm as a solo artist.

During the latter half of the concert, Chansung interacted with his fans, sharing, “It was a long-held dream of mine to perform at the end of the year,” and adding, “It’s all thanks to you, the fans, that I could wrap up this year’s activities so successfully.” He also delighted the audience with the announcement of a forthcoming Blu-ray release next year.

For the encore, he expressed his gratitude with a performance of ‘Fine -JP Ver.-’. Following the concert, a surprise video featuring tour behind-the-scenes footage and fan messages brought an added layer of emotion. Upon seeing the slogan ‘Chansung’s First Step, Our Dawn Has Begun,’ Chansung was visibly moved and expressed his heartfelt thanks.

Additionally, news of ‘CHANSUNG’s Birthday Night 2026’ to be held on February 11, 2026, at Billboard Live TOKYO in Japan was surprisingly announced. Through this tour, Chansung has clearly solidified his enhanced musical capabilities and presence as an artist and actor embarking on a new chapter in his Japanese activities.

Korean netizens reacted enthusiastically to Chansung's successful solo tour finale, commenting things like 'As expected from Chansung!', 'Rooting for your successful solo activities in Japan too!', and 'We're also looking forward to a 2PM full group comeback!'
