Yoo Jae-suk Crowned 'Entertainer of the Year' for 14th Consecutive Year; Shin Dong-yup and Jun Hyun-moo Follow in Top Ranks

National MC Yoo Jae-suk has once again proven his unparalleled popularity by being selected as the top entertainer of the year for the 14th consecutive year. According to a survey released by Korea Gallup on November 11, Yoo Jae-suk garnered 48.2% of the votes from 1,700 individuals aged 13 and above nationwide.

Yoo Jae-suk has solidified his status as the nation's top MC through successful long-running variety shows such as 'Happy Together', 'Infinite Challenge', and 'Running Man'. His current programs, including 'You Quiz on the Block' and 'What Do You Play?', continue to be beloved, demonstrating his enduring influence.

Following Yoo Jae-suk, Shin Dong-yup, dubbed the 'King of Indoor Variety', secured the second position with 16.3% of the support. He currently hosts multiple popular shows like SBS's 'TV Animal Farm' and 'My Little Old Boy', as well as KBS2's 'Immortal Songs'. He has also been active in Netflix's 'Is It Sex Education?' series.

Jun Hyun-moo ranked third with 11.5%. Kang Ho-dong, who was considered one of the two 'National MCs' alongside Yoo Jae-suk until 2010, came in fourth with 10.1%. Comedian Lee Su-ji secured the fifth spot, while Park Na-rae, who recently halted activities due to controversy, ranked sixth with 8.0% of the votes. Seo Jang-hoon, Lee Soo-geun, Kian84, and Jang Do-yeon rounded out the top 10.

The survey results indicate a lack of significant shifts in the top ranks compared to last year, with Yoo Jae-suk, Shin Dong-yeop, Jun Hyun-moo, and Kang Ho-dong maintaining their positions. This trend is attributed to the importance of chemistry among cast members in variety shows, favoring established stars over newcomers.
