Jaeyoon, a member of the group SF9, has been cast in the 2026 musical concert ‘The Mission:K’, generating significant anticipation from fans.

‘The Mission:K’ is a unique production that reinterprets the true stories of four historical figures – Avison, Severance, Allen, and Underwood, pioneers of modern healthcare and education in Korea – through a talk show format. It's drawing attention for merging the dynamic feel of a K-pop concert and the intimate setting of a talk show, going beyond a conventional musical.

In the production, Jaeyoon will portray Underwood, the founder of Yonhi College, characterized by a calm and prudent personality. Jaeyoon has consistently solidified his standing as a musical actor through various works such as ‘Startup’, ‘Another Oh Hae-young’, ‘Seopyeonje’, and ‘Dorian Gray’. His solid vocal abilities, impressive dance skills, and delicate acting are expected to bring his unique portrayal of Underwood to life, enhancing the audience's immersion in the play.

Attention is focusing on Jaeyoon's next steps as he is set to once again prove his stable vocals and unparalleled live performance skills. ‘The Mission:K’ is scheduled to run for three days, from January 30 to February 1, 2026, at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts Grand Theater in Seoul.
