
Veteran Voice Actor Ahn Ji-hwan Halts Activities Indefinitely Due to Health Concerns, Including 'TV Animal Farm'
Ahn Ji-hwan, the beloved voice actor known for his warm narration on SBS's 'TV Animal Farm,' will be taking a temporary break from all his broadcasting activities due to health issues.
His agency, Crios Entertainment, announced on the 16th, "Ahn Ji-hwan is experiencing health irregularities and will be temporarily stepping down from all currently ongoing programs to focus on his recovery."
This decision means Ahn will be absent from his roles on the Korean Armed Forces Network's 'Exciting Radio' and the widely popular SBS show 'TV Animal Farm,' among other scheduled appearances.
Since his debut as an MBC voice actor in 1993, Ahn Ji-hwan has lent his distinctive voice to numerous animations such as 'SpongeBob SquarePants,' 'Slam Dunk,' and 'Olympians.' He also garnered recognition for his narration in entertainment shows like 'Radio Star' and 'Old House New Rules,' and earned the affectionate nickname 'Animal Farm Uncle' for his signature friendly and heartwarming delivery on 'TV Animal Farm.'
