Choi Soo-young Firmly Declines 'Transit Love' Appearance: "No Need To Go"
Actress Choi Soo-young has revealed her firm stance on appearing in the dating reality show 'Transit Love' (also known as 'Exchange').
On the latest episode of the YouTube channel 'TEO's web variety show 'Salon Drip 2', aired on the 16th, Choi Soo-young and Kim Jae-young appeared to promote their drama 'Idolly'. During the show, Choi Soo-young confessed, "My biggest interest these days is 'Transit Love'," expressing her deep immersion in the show.
When MC Jang Do-yeon asked, "If you were to participate, would you go on 'Transit Love'?", Choi Soo-young responded without hesitation, "If it were me, I wouldn't go."
Pressed for a reason, she added a brief yet impactful "No need," which sent the studio into laughter. This response resonated with many, as it's understood to reflect her current long-term relationship of 13 years with actor Jung Kyung-ho, implying there's no reason to join a program where one might have to cohabitate with an ex.
In contrast, her co-guest Kim Jae-young presented a different perspective. He mused, "I think it would be fun if I went," and playfully added, "I wonder how many people would like me if I went."
Kim Jae-young further elaborated, "It might be tough at first, but wouldn't everyone like me eventually?", displaying a surprising confidence before concluding with, "And then we'd live life drinking", which brought calm to the buzzing set.
Netizens reacted positively to Choi Soo-young's honest and realistic answer, with comments like, "Soo-young is on another level," "She's been dating Jung Kyung-ho for 13 years, no need to go on the show," and "Kim Jae-young is quirky but funny because he's honest."
