Lim Young-woong's Fandom Donates ₩7 Million to Children of Deceased Organ Donors

The fan club 'Hero Generation Daegu Starlight Study Room' has donated 7 million won (approximately $5,300 USD) to the D.F. Scholarship Foundation, which supports the children of deceased organ donors, further promoting the culture of organ donation.

According to the Korea Organ Donor Program, this marks the third consecutive year that the Daegu Starlight Study Room, a fan group of around 100 members who support Lim Young-woong's music, has made this meaningful contribution.

The funds will be channeled through the D.F. Scholarship Foundation to provide practical financial aid for the children's education, ensuring they can continue their studies without facing economic hardships.

The D.F. Scholarship Foundation was established in 2020 to emphasize the value of organ donation and the societal responsibility to support the families left behind. To date, it has awarded a total of 114.26 million won in scholarships to 72 students across six scholarship award ceremonies, with the next scheduled for February 2025.
