Choi Soo-young Reveals Her Secret to Bonding with Staff: 'Swearing'?

Former Girls' Generation member and actress Choi Soo-young has revealed her unique secret to getting close with film set staff, sparking widespread interest.

Appearing on the YouTube channel 'Salon Drip 2' on the 16th, alongside actor Kang Tae-oh, Choi Soo-young shared how she observed senior actors interacting comfortably with the crew and discovered a way to bridge the gap.

"I realized you have to swear first. If you do it in a 'flavorful' way, they like it. The walls come down," she explained, surprising the cast.

She continued, "I tried it once. I went up to the youngest staff member and said, 'Hey, XX, isn't it tough?' and they replied, 'Yes, unnie, it's tough.' That's when I became their comfortable 'unnie' (older sister)," she recounted from her experience.

She added with a laugh, "Those staff members sometimes come to wrap parties and give me letters saying, 'Unnie, I'm actually Sone (Girls' Generation fan)'".

Choi Soo-young attributed her unconventional approach to her often perceived cool demeanor. "When I see behind-the-scenes footage, it always shows me with my arms crossed and a poker face, not my usual approachable self. I've felt burdened by being seen that way," she explained.
