Singer Gain and Jo Kwon are set to release a special duet track, marking their reunion after 16 years.

On the 17th at 6 PM KST, the duo will drop their collaboration single ‘We Fell in Love (2025)’ across various online music platforms. This new version is inspired by the film ‘Even If This Love Disappears From the World Tonight’.

The original ‘We Fell in Love’ was first released in 2009 through the MBC reality show ‘We Got Married Season 2’. Gain and Jo Kwon, who starred as a virtual couple, captured the hearts of viewers with their undeniable chemistry.

The 2025 rendition aims to capture the poignant love story depicted in the original novel. Lyrics like “What could you be feeling / What could I be feeling / One thing is clear to me / That we smile when we are together” are expected to be reinterpreted with Gain and Jo Kwon’s deepened emotions and harmonized voices, promising a heartwarming sensation to melt away the winter chill.

The film ‘Even If This Love Disappears From the World Tonight’, based on the best-selling Japanese novel, tells the sweet yet heart-wrenching tale of a female student with anterograde amnesia who loses her memories each night upon waking, and an ordinary male student. The movie, starring actors Chu Young-woo and Shin Sia, is set to premiere on the 24th.

Fans are buzzing with excitement over Gain and Jo Kwon's reunion. Comments like "Finally, they're back!", "A legendary duo since 'We Got Married'", and "Already excited for the 2025 version" flood the online community, expressing both nostalgia and anticipation.
