Comedian Park Na-rae's decision to halt activities amid a legal dispute with her former manager has led to collateral damage, impacting her close circle of celebrity friends.

MBC announced on the 16th that the planned variety show 'Palm Oil Trip,' which was in the discussion phase, will not proceed. This spin-off of the popular show 'I Live Alone' was set to feature Jun Hyun-moo, Park Na-rae, and Lee Jang-woo, capitalizing on the trio's popularity as the 'Palm Oil Siblings'.

The cancellation is a significant blow to Lee Jang-woo, who had recently departed 'I Live Alone' due to his marriage and saw 'Palm Oil Trip' as a new professional opportunity. The unexpected halt has placed him in a precarious career situation.

Furthermore, another MBC variety show, 'I Also Feel Excited' (tentative title), featuring Park Na-rae alongside fellow comedians Jang Do-yeon, Shin Ki-ru, and Heo An-na, has also been completely canceled. Originally slated for a January premiere, the show's cancellation just a month before its broadcast has left the cast, who had already completed filming, in disbelief.

Heo An-na recently expressed her distress on social media, citing a "decrease in self-esteem" due to consecutive audition rejections and the abrupt cancellation of 'I Also Feel Excited.'

Park Na-rae is currently undergoing legal proceedings regarding the allegations from her former manager. She has stated her intention to pause all activities temporarily to focus on resolving the matter.
