Park Na-rae's 'Narae Bar' Anecdotes Resurface Amid Controversy; Park Bo-gum and Jo In-sung's Witty Rejections Go Viral
Amidst the ongoing controversies surrounding comedian Park Na-rae, anecdotes about her famous 'Narae Bar' frequented by celebrities are being re-examined.
In particular, the witty rejections by actors Park Bo-gum and Jo In-sung to invitations to Park Na-rae's establishment have recently gained traction online.
A clip from the 2017 MBC Every1 show 'Video Star' resurfaced recently. During the broadcast, MC Park Kyung-lim attempted to connect with actor Jo In-sung via phone. Park Na-rae, a self-proclaimed fan, directly requested to speak with him.
When Park Kyung-lim invited Jo In-sung to 'Narae Bar' if he had time, he humorously responded, "I heard that entering is free, but leaving is difficult." He further added, "If you invite me, I'll come with my parents," eliciting laughter from the studio with his clever remark.
Later, on JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator,' Park Kyung-lim revealed the different reactions of the two stars: "Park Bo-gum didn't give me his contact information after I asked him to visit, while Jo In-sung said he would come with his parents."
At the time, 'Narae Bar' was known as a prominent social hub for celebrities, and the stars' amusing reasons for declining invitations have become a point of interest.
Meanwhile, Park Na-rae has been at the center of controversy due to legal disputes with her former managers and allegations of illegal medical procedures. Her former managers claimed 'abuse of power' and filed for provisional seizure of her property. Park Na-rae's side has denied these claims, stating they are false accusations made after she refused to pay 10% of her revenue after their departure, and has vowed legal action. Regarding the 'Jusa Imo' (injection aunt) allegations, her side clarified it was a "legal house call."
On March 16th, Park Na-rae announced via her YouTube channel 'Baek Eun-young's Golden Time' that she would not provide further explanations for the accusations, aiming to prevent further controversy. As her personal life, including 'Narae Bar,' is being re-examined, the truth behind the various allegations remains unclear.
Netizens commented, "Jo In-sung's wit is amazing," "I didn't know Park Na-rae had these stories," and "It feels a bit much to bring up old stories during the current controversy."
