VVUP Kicks Off Global Expansion with First Fan Event in Member Kim's Native Indonesia

Rookie girl group VVUP is set to accelerate their global journey, starting with their member Kim's home country, Indonesia.

VVUP (members Kim, Faye, Sua, and Yunase) will be holding their fan event 'House Party with VVUP' in Jakarta, Indonesia, on the 26th and 27th (local time). The event will feature not only performances but also a meet-and-greet and fan signing sessions, allowing the group to connect closely with their local fans.

This marks VVUP's first visit to Indonesia since their debut, making the occasion particularly special as it is member Kim's home country. VVUP has consistently topped the Indonesian iTunes K-Pop charts with their comebacks, and leveraging this strong local popularity, they have chosen Indonesia as the starting point for their global expansion.

The promotion is also notable for its collaboration with luxury golfwear brand MARK & LONA, with whom VVUP previously showcased a collection. The announcement of their collaboration with MARK & LONA garnered significant attention, with 92 media outlets in Japan extensively covering the news, underscoring VVUP's global appeal.

Recently, with their first mini-album 'VVON,' VVUP announced a successful rebranding across music, performance, and visuals, expanding their presence not just in Asia but also in South America, the Middle East, and Europe. The group achieved a 'chart-filling' phenomenon by having numerous new and previously released songs enter the iTunes K-Pop charts in Mexico and France, solidifying their position as a steady seller amidst rising domestic and international momentum.

Furthermore, 'VVON' immediately ranked No. 1 on the iTunes R&B/Soul charts in Indonesia and Thailand upon its release, and also appeared in the top ranks of the Apple Music K-Pop charts in Brazil and Portugal. The title track 'Super Model' topped the Qatar Apple Music chart, and its music video is nearing 14 million views.

VVUP's fan event 'House Party with VVUP' will take place on the 26th and 27th at Lippo Puri Mall and Kota Kasablanka in Jakarta, Indonesia. Attendance for the fan event will be selected from purchasers of the MARK & LONA collection t-shirts.
