'I Am Solo' Couple Young-chul and Young-ja Announce Heartbreaking Miscarriage News Ahead of Wedding

Young-chul and Young-ja, who gained attention as a couple from SBS Plus and ENA's dating reality show 'I Am Solo' (Dol-sing special), have shared devastating news.

A video uploaded on the 'Chonjang Entertainment TV' channel on the 17th, titled "The first OB/GYN visit for the couple! But...", revealed their situation.

During their early pregnancy check-up, Young-ja expressed her worries, mentioning a recent ER visit due to sudden bleeding.

However, the doctor delivered the difficult news during the ultrasound: "The fetus appears to have stopped growing around 8 weeks. There is no heartbeat. It's a missed miscarriage."

Visibly shaken, Young-ja stated, "Since we have to accept it anyway..." The doctor offered comfort, explaining, "This isn't the mother's fault; as women age, egg quality can decrease, leading to chromosomal abnormalities and a higher risk of miscarriage." They advised, "It would be best to address this within the week."

After scheduling the procedure, Young-chul reassured Young-ja, "As long as you're okay, that's all that matters. It's not your fault. It's okay." Young-ja tearfully shared, "Yesterday at the hospital, it felt like it had stopped growing," to which Young-chul responded, "It's natural, so don't worry too much. As long as you and I are well, that's what's important."
