S.E.S Eugene Declares an 'Escape' with a Bungy Jump Wish; Husband Ki Tae-young Stunned

Former S.E.S member and actress Eugene has announced a desire for an escape from her daily routine, surprising her husband Ki Tae-young.

In a YouTube video titled ‘“Shopping Forever…?” Realistic Couple Moments During a Songdo Date,’ released on December 17th, Eugene and Ki Tae-young were seen enjoying a date in Songdo, Incheon, ahead of Christmas.

"We usually date a lot in Seoul," Eugene mentioned, while Ki Tae-young added, "We'll capture our usual, light dates and daily lives."

The couple, holding hands tightly and without masks, mingled with the public, showcasing sweet moments. Upon seeing a Christmas tree, Eugene remarked, "Our home tree is 20 years old. I bought it for 100,000 won at Goto Mall (Express Bus Terminal)." Ki Tae-young playfully retorted, "They say if you bought NVIDIA stock 14 years ago, it would be 285 times more valuable now," earning him a playful swat.

Inside a store, they shopped for Christmas ornaments and plates. Eugene's continuous shopping spree left Ki Tae-young looking tired but amused.

Later, they visited an arcade. Eugene and Ki Tae-young showed keen interest in new games, engaging in a fierce competition with 'Pump' and basketball games. Eugene, especially excited while playing 'Pump,' declared, "If I'm not here, you can assume I've gone off on an escape," much to everyone's amusement. Ki Tae-young also showed his competitive spirit by opening his wallet for the claw machine.

During dinner, they discussed various topics. Ki Tae-young expressed his ambition to film content for reaching 200,000 subscribers. Unexpectedly, Eugene voiced her desire to try bungy jumping, startling Ki Tae-young. He persuaded her, saying, "For a family with children, we should avoid risky activities like motorcycling or bungy jumping."

Eugene and Ki Tae-young married in 2011 and have two daughters.
