The fan club 'Hero Generation Gwangju-Jeonnam', dedicated to the singer Lim Young-woong, has continued its year-end giving by donating kimchi worth approximately 2 million KRW to the Ehwa Orphanage, a child welfare facility located in Naju City, Jeollanam-do.

This donation was prepared to provide a healthy and warm meal to the infants and young children living at Ehwa Orphanage as the cold winter approaches.

The kimchi, prepared with sincerity by the fan club members, included napa cabbage kimchi, mustard greens kimchi, white kimchi, and dongchimi. It was carefully made to be delicious and safe for young children with weak immune systems.

'Hero Generation Gwangju-Jeonnam' has been fostering a relationship with Ehwa Orphanage since 2023, consistently engaging in charitable activities. Following donations for Family Month and volunteer childcare work, they are again this year helping the children prepare for winter through kimchi donations and childcare volunteering.

A representative from the fan club shared, "When winter comes, our thoughts turn first to the children. Hearing that the children like kimchi and eat it well naturally led us to extend our hearts this year as well," adding, "We are grateful for this time to share our warmth with each other."

Ki Se-soon, the director of Ehwa Orphanage, expressed deep gratitude, stating, "We sincerely thank the members of 'Hero Generation Gwangju-Jeonnam' for sharing their sincerity for the children every year." He continued, "The fans' positive influence and warm love are a great source of strength for the children. We will continue to work together for the healthy growth of the children."

The donation holds added significance as it took place ahead of Lim Young-woong's concert in Gwangju. 'Hero Generation Gwangju-Jeonnam' conveyed their wishes for the success of the '2025 National Tour Concert IM HERO 2' Gwangju performances, scheduled from December 19th to 21st at the Kimdaejung Convention Center, aiming to complete a warm year-end through music and sharing.

Fan club members remarked, "Just as artist Lim Young-woong's music provided us with comfort and love, we also want to deliver small comforts and warmth to various parts of society," and added, "It is even more meaningful to practice Young-woong's heart by participating in this kimchi donation with such a good intention."

Ehwa Orphanage, established in 1986, currently cares for around 40 infants and toddlers who cannot receive protection from their biological parents.

Netizens are reacting warmly, with comments like "As expected, Lim Young-woong's fandom has class," "Thank you for sharing warm hearts this cold winter," and "I should become a member of Hero Generation too."
