Baek Z Young Reveals Husband Jung Suk Won's 'Life-Changing' Secret: 'My Acting Improved After Reading Books'

Singer Baek Z Young has shared an interesting anecdote about her husband Jung Suk Won's transformation.

In a YouTube video uploaded on the 'Baek Z Young Baek Z Young' channel on the 6th, Baek Z Young recounted a story about visiting a restaurant with her husband for the first time in 13 years of marriage. She revealed the reason behind Jung Suk Won's change, as he previously had no interest in reading.

Baek Z Young recalled being a literature enthusiast in her school days and mentioned she is currently reading 'Dual Brain,' a book about AI, and 'First Summer, Wanju,' published by actor Park Jung Min's company, among others. Jung Suk Won then appeared with over 10 books he personally selected, introducing them as his recommendations. He confessed that he only started reading books at the age of thirty and was completely unfamiliar with them before.

Baek Z Young elaborated, stating that her husband had never read a book from beginning to end. Jung Suk Won humorously shared that during their dating years, Baek Z Young told him she wished he had 'intellectual beauty,' a term he didn't understand at all, much to her surprise. He admitted to only carrying Bruce Lee books and nunchucks during his school days.

Baek Z Young praised Jung Suk Won's honesty, noting that he never pretends to know what he doesn't, which makes their conversations enjoyable. She initially recommended easy-to-read and touching books, but he would often stop reading halfway, claiming to understand the meaning.
